People are asking one question about the Essence Music Festival. Why were the dates moved away from the 4th of July ? If you have not heard, Essence Music Festival will be held July 6,7,8 in the year 2012. This dates are in the middle of the week and ends on a Friday.
The Essence festival was synonyms with fourth of July weekend for many. People are guessing that this would provided cheaper flights some other event beat the festival out in the bidding, or management feels the dates will allow more people to come. Many people do consider 4th of July a family day in the United States
