American Idol contestant Mandisa released her third album. If you don't remember Mandisa, she was the sexy thick African American female from the 5th season of American Idol.
After American Idol, Mandisa took the gospel route in the entertainment industry and , it paid off for her. Although American Idol gets a cut of her money, Mandisa has been nominated for a Grammy 8 times since 2008 in different areas. She has released 2 albums so far and has another on the way.
