Russ Parr is a long time syndicated radio personality. He has a listener base of 10 million people across the country. Every year for at least the last five years, the Russ Parr Morning show does a bus tour around the country. This tour allows new artist and established artist along with the morning show to gain exposure and inform people about their new projects.
During the tour, non profits are allowed to inform the free concert seekers with community information and free give ways. For example, this year in Washington,DC the ten thousand backpack group promoted their giveaway plan of ten thousands school backpacks to kids returning to school.
