Russ Parr is one of America's historical syndicated radio personality currently. Parr through out his career has shown the ability to expand beyond his current opportunity. For example, he has been a comic, music artist, radio host and most recently movie director and producer .

With all this success, Parr has been over shadowed by a past situation with a cost host. In a recent washington city paper news article, Olivia Fox made reference to her past work experience with Parr.

Foxx went into some detail as to why she departed or was fired from the Russ Parr Morning show. source

The article allegedly implied that Parr's and Fox's employer treated Fox unfairly when it came to pay compensation. This article to some still put Parr in a bad light when it came to women and women being treated fairly on the job.

Recently , Parr did an interview at All Hip Hop dot com. Parr went into detail about his past career and his time up to now. Parr also points out how he has helped people in the past that worked with him.

Parr stated:

I’m really proud that I have been able to be a trendsetter. There is a double standard in our business, putting women in the focal point. I have been blessed to be able to give several individuals positions that they rarely would have been hired. Almost everybody that I’ve ever worked with on my show started off as one of my interns. I made it a point to share the knowledge that I had with people and teach them what I knew. If you work hard, you deserve an opportunity to get a shot at being on the radio. If I need a different voice or whatever, I’ll put you on. That has always been my thing. I’ve often had people tell me: “You’ll just put anybody on. That’s unprofessional.” But that’s how a lot of people became big stars. Somebody gave them a shot. And I’m very secure with my ability to be able to share my knowledge and to just pass on or give somebody part of your punch line. I don’t need that. I don’t have an ego like that. And that’s my big th! ing for me, is I think ego just kills so many careers, and that’s something that I refuse to allow to make decisions for me.

Paul Porter a once upon a time radio celebrity , BET(Black Entertainment Television) celebrity and a person in the public eye. Well, he feel off a little but , he still has knowledge about the music and radio industry.

In this interview below, Porter points out that a black person is 75 times more likely to hear a syndicated radio show such as Tom Joyner, Russ Parr, Rickey Smiley , and Steve Harvey then a white person.

Porter goes into detail about the long terms effect of this syndicated programming.

Russ Parr is a syndicated radio show host . The title of the show is the Russ Parr morning show. Recently, Russ Parr made various comments about Tavis Smiley in relationship to his Poverty Tour.

During the a recent show, Parr seemed to imply that Smiley is crying because President Obama has not appeared on any of Smiley's shows nor invited Smiley to the White House like past President have done because is a high profile black media person. Parr adds that Smiley and Cornell West may have a hidden agenda and , Parr makes reference to his book. In the book, one chapter talks about the politics of Smiley and West.

Although various members of the morning show crew felt Smiley was just a token because Smiley has appeared on various talks shows, Smiley has always been vocal about all Presidential administrations in the United States.

Being that Smiley has been consistent in his past political actions, others still find problems when Smiley is vocal about America's current President.

Shaqwana did a interview recently and, she still got Nene Leaks name all up in her mouth or vocabulary. In the article , Shaqwana is talking about re branding herself vic jagger, NeNe Leaks and how Kanye West told her not to interrupt him while he is talking.

Russ Parr and Kim Whitely have teamed up to complete a new project titled "35 & Ticking". Some of the cast such as Tamala Jones, Nicole Ari Parker,Darius McCrary, and Clifton Powell came to DC aka the DMV to help promote the new movie. The event took place on the world famous U street and, the platform was the Lincoln Theater with Ben's Chili Bowl and Ben's Next Door as the backdrop to the red carpet and VIP reception.

The video below documented part of the event and has many back drop stories. Jamie Foster Brown , who is the publisher of Sister 2 Sister magazine, spoke about how the stars feel about the bloggers. One of Jason and Stacie Turner's friends that appeared on Real Housewives of DC spoke about Stacie new projects and promotional relationship with Reebok.
